Eric Vermeire has worked in the technology industry since 1997. Eric began their career at Microsoft as a Web Design Engineer Level 3, where they were a contract Internet and SQL database programmer. In 1999, they joined Rivals.com as a Senior Software Engineer, and then moved to Rival Networks in the same role. In 2001, they joined Scout Media (FoxSports.com) as a Software Development Manager, where they were the first developer hired to build the Scout.com website from the ground up. In 2010, they joined Allrecipes.com as a Senior Developer, Mobile Web Services, where they oversaw a team of engineers responsible for every Allrecipes' mobile application. In 2013, they joined AT&T Mobility as a Technical Architect, and then moved to SkyMode in 2016 as the CTO and Co-founder. In 2017, they joined Maven as a Senior Software Engineer, and then moved to Data Skrive in 2018 as the Director of Engineering. At Data Skrive, they are responsible for architecting and building a content generation platform that is currently syndicating sports content to the Associated Press, NASCAR, ESPN, and many other organizations.
Eric Vermeire obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business (Information Technology) from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business between 1992 and 1996.
