Merav Yuravlivker has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Merav is the CEO and Co-founder of Data Society, a predictive analytics training and consulting company. Merav also served as a Special Education Teacher at the U.S. Department of Education, where they achieved accelerated academic results and differentiated instruction for students with special needs.

Merav began their career as a Corps member at Teach for America, where they were selected from a pool of applicants to teach in under-resourced public schools. Merav participated in an intensive summer training program and taught in a summer school program for New York City public school students.

Merav also volunteered at McGill Nightline, a student-run organization that provides a confidential and anonymous listening and information service. Merav underwent comprehensive training to develop appropriate listening skills and implement protocols for delicate situations.

Merav Yuravlivker pursued their education in a variety of institutions and fields. Merav attended McGill University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree, majoring in Psychology and Sociology. Following this, they enrolled at Pace University from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Science degree. Merav'sarea of focus during their master's program was in Elementary Special Education and General Elementary Education. Before attending these universities, they attended Academia Cotopaxi in Quito, Ecuador from 2002 to 2004 and completed their high school education there. Additionally, they completed the International Baccalaureate program during this time. Merav also studied at Sidwell Friends School in Washington DC from 2000 to 2002, prior to attending Academia Cotopaxi. Furthermore, in January 2019, Merav obtained certification through the IACET Accreditation Workshop conducted by the International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET).
