Stacy Kerkela

Stacy Kerkela has extensive experience in engineering leadership, currently serving as Director of Engineering at Databricks since June 2018, where multiple engineering teams are built to develop UIs and APIs for data processing, ETL, and ML. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Manager at Slack, VP Engineering at Switchboard Software focusing on cloud-based data operations for digital publishers, and Engineering Manager at Facebook overseeing photo-related initiatives. With significant tenure at Google from 2007 to 2013 in various engineering and management roles, Stacy also has experience from LightSurf, CyberSource, Outride, and Vestek. Stacy holds a Master’s degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree from Caltech.
