Gil Elbaz

Gil Elbaz is the CTO and Co-Founder of Datagen. Gil was previously an Algorithms Engineer with OMEK Magnet, where they worked on algorithm development for 3D point cloud analysis. Their work on the Magnet project focused specifically on Super-Points and registration of multiple point clouds utilizing Computer Vision and Machine Learning methods.

Elbaz's work on developing generic technology for efficient representation of large point cloud data and a coarse registration method between small local and very large global point clouds using super-points was funded by the Israeli Ministry of Industry and Trade, headed by Elbit, Intel, and Rafael.

Gil Elbaz received a Master’s Degree in Computer Vision from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same school.

They work with Karine Regev - VP Marketing, Tal Darom - VP R&D, and Hadas Sheinfeld - VP Product. Gil Elbaz reports to Ofir Chakon, CEO & Co-Founder. Some direct reports include Shay Gusin - Director of Engineering, Orly Zvitia - Director of AI, and Evan Gintsiak - Director of 3D.
