This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction of our HR initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Reporting to the VP, Total Rewards & People Ops, the Senior Director will play a key role in shaping and executing HR strategies that contribute to the overall success and growth of Dataiku. Your strategic acumen and passion for fostering a positive workplace culture will be essential in driving initiatives that support the organization goals

Responsibilities include:

● Lead the development and execution of our HR operations strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
● In close partnership with people business partners, legal, IT and company leadership you will evolve and iterate on our existing people and employment policies ensuring consistency and a best-in-class employee experience.
● Lead the creation and execution of a global people service model as we work to evolve, mature and automate our processes.
● Be the thought leader around automation and other tools that will simplify and streamline our work.
● Oversee the development and management of thoughtful, scalable policies and processes that shape the employee lifecycle and are compliant, efficient, and scalable.  This includes onboarding, offboarding, Leaves of Absence, and other compliance related efforts
● Provide expert guidance to employees and managers on HR matters
● Design, implement and maintain initiatives that support efficient operations with a focus on increased manager and employee enablement.
● Oversee all aspects of employee life-cycle operations processes from onboarding through exit
● Responsible for all HR compliance matters (handbook, policies, record keeping, training requirements, audits, annual reporting, etc), including regular training for employees and new hires
● Lead a global team of people operations professionals at both a strategic and operational level.
● Resolve complex issues and escalations with our internal and external partners.
● Analyze, problem-solve and clearly communicate observations and recommendations to your team and partners.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be vital to ensure you get the consensus needed from your team and other departments.
● Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and eliminate work
● Lead and contribute to strategic collaboration efforts with other People teams
● Prepare and present strategic HR reports, leveraging data to support data-driven decision-making within the People function

Success Profile:


● A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus
● 15+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, with at least 7 years in leadership roles
● Demonstrated mastery of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
● Extensive knowledge and experience in designing and executing benefits strategies aligned with organizational goals5 years project management experience.
● Significant functional experience with cloud-based HR tools
● Workday experience is a must
● Expertise in developing and automating dashboards and key metrics.
● Track record of driving innovation and process automation within the People Operations function
● You are fluent in English, good command of French would be an advantage
