Daniel Sun

VP, Legal at Dataiku

Daniel Sun is currently the Vice President of Legal at Dataiku. Prior to their current position, Sun served as the Director of Assistant General Counsel at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) from June 2016 to November 2017. In this role, Sun was responsible for automating, centralizing, and standardizing the processing of financial transactions while also mitigating risk and increasing transparency.

Before DTCC, Sun worked as Legal Counsel at Bloomberg LP from March 2013 to June 2016. In this role, Sun provided legal support to the company’s sales and trading businesses.

Sun began their career as a Managing Associate in the Venture Technology Group at Dentons in December 2011. Daniel remained in this position until March 2013 when they transitioned to Bloomberg LP.

Sun has a wealth of experience in the legal field and has demonstrated their ability to provide legal support in a variety of settings. Daniel's experience will continue to be an asset to Dataiku as the company grows and expands its operations.

Daniel Sun received their Doctor of Law from Fordham University School of Law and their B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Economics from Rutgers University.

They work with Edward Bush - VP, Finance, Grace Taylor - Sales Enablement Content Associate, and Amaury Delplancq - VP, Sales - Southern Europe. Daniel Sun reports to Romain Fouache, Chief Revenue Officer. A direct report to Daniel Sun is and Alexis Liu - Director of Legal.
