Muriel Avignon

Muriel Avignon is currently the VP of People Operations at Dataiku. Prior to their current role, Muriel worked as a business analyst and operations manager at Google from July 2015 to August 2016. In this role, they were responsible for managing the daily operations of ZOO EMEA (Google's creative think tank). This involved coordinating the interactions between the different teams within the department, as well as creating and designing business analysis to guide and support top management decisions. Muriel also built an innovative methodology to value the activity of the department and its contribution to the global business. Finally, they created high level financial and business quarterly reports to EMEA leaders.

Before working at Google, Muriel was the inventory controller at Grace Digital Inc. from June 2013 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the day-to-day activities of the cost accounting functions of the organization. This involved analyzing, reconciling and managing inventory and cost accounting processes and systems. Muriel also developed policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities, prepared monthly journal entries to record inventory and manufacturing activity and assisted in month end close of the general ledger. Muriel also assisted with auditors in preparing schedules and providing supporting documents.

Muriel Avignon has a Master of Science in Accountancy and Taxation from the University of San Diego, as well as an Exchange student degree in Accounting and Finance from the same school. Muriel also has a Business Administration bachelor degree and Master degree in Finance from EM Strasbourg Business School.
