Kevin Wang

Kevin Wang began their work experience in 2013 as a Printed Circuit Board Designer at Tubis Technologies, where they contributed to the development of a tablet-sized device that aimed to provide cell phone coverage to rural areas. In 2014, they worked as a Research Intern at USC Media Communications Lab, focusing on the detection of altered images. From 2016 to 2017, Kevin served as a Software Engineering Intern at j2 Global, where they built the FaxDocument Android app and implemented marketing analytics and testing tools. In 2017, they joined Salesforce as a Software Engineering Intern, working on alerting mechanisms and pipelines for the Marketing Cloud's database. Kevin continued their journey at Salesforce in 2018 as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, leading data visualization engineering efforts for the COVID-19 Get Well Program. Kevin leveraged data analytics to extend Salesforce's storage capacity and reduced additional costs by over $4 million in 2020. Currently, since 2022, Kevin is employed as a Software Engineer III at Dataminr.

Kevin Wang completed their high school education at San Marino High School from 2010 to 2014. Kevin obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, with a minor in Business Finance, from the University of Southern California between 2014 and 2018.
