Peter Gifford

Peter Gifford has worked at multiple companies and held various roles throughout their career. Peter started their professional journey as a Summer Camp Head Facilitator at Momentum Sandy in 2017. In the same year, they also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Western Transportation Institute.

In 2018, Peter joined Montana State University-Bozeman as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. Peter also took on roles as an Undergraduate Researcher and REU Researcher during their time at the university. Additionally, Peter became a Substitute Bassoonist for the Helena Symphony Inc in May 2018 and a 2nd Bassoonist for the Bozeman Symphony in September 2018.

Peter's most recent work experience is at Dataminr, where they have been since joining as a Software Engineering Intern in November 2018. Peter progressed to roles as a Software Engineer 1, Software Engineer 2, and currently works as a Software Engineer 3 since January 2023.

Peter Gifford obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Montana State University-Bozeman, where they attended from 2016 to 2020.
