Adam Weiss

Adam Weiss has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 as a busboy at Urban Bar-B-Que. In 2014, they worked as a dock hand at Lake Needwood Boat House, followed by a role as a host/busboy at The Olney Tavern in 2015. In 2016, Adam worked as a CAD drafting intern at Nichols Contracting Inc. before transitioning to an engineering/CAD drafting intern role in 2017 at the same company. During the same year, they also served as the Vehicle Dynamics Subteam Leader at Terps Racing Baja Team, where they coordinated tasks, selected suspension elements, and analyzed load conditions. In 2018, Adam was a mechanical engineering intern at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. Their most recent position is Senior Project Engineer at Datamura Solutions since 2019, where they created a building system database, managed interns, and scripted SQL procedures for improved data cleanliness and speed during bulk uploads.

Adam Weiss attended Sherwood High School from 2011 to 2015 and obtained a High School Graduate Diploma in General Studies. Following high school, they enrolled at Montgomery College in 2014 and completed their studies in Mathematics in 2015. After that, Adam Weiss pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland from 2015 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Adam Weiss has obtained several certifications. In November 2021, they completed the Python for Data Science: Fundamentals Part I Course offered by Dataquest.io. In December 2021, they completed the Python for Data Science: Intermediate Course and the Python for Data Science: Fundamentals Part II Course, both also provided by Dataquest.io. Lastly, in February 2023, they earned a Professional Certificate in Data Science and Business Analytics (with Distinction) from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business.
