Adrian Sandham has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies.

Adrian is currently working at DataStax as an Automation Lead, where they focus on automating tasks and identifying opportunities for optimization and effectiveness across the client base. Prior to this, they worked as a Success Manager at DataStax, where they played a key role in onboarding large clients and ensuring the continuous growth of the Datastax Astra DB service.

Before joining DataStax, Adrian was a Co-Founder at DCSix Technologies, where they focused on holistic solutions for IoT products and constantly evaluated and implemented the best technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Adrian also founded Sandham Consulting, where they completed various contracts in the cloud, utilities, and startup space. At Accenture, they served as a Technology Architecture Senior Principal/Manager, leading innovation and new product development in the areas of security, sustainability, and digital twin.

Adrian also held positions at CDI LLC as Chief Automation Architect - CTO and Principal Consultant, at Dell EMC as a Software Cloud Architect, at VCE as a Quality Assurance Engineer, at Oracle as an Integration and Quality Test Engineer, and at Ericsson as a Technical Training Consultant.

Their work experience started during their time as a student at Cork Institute of Technology.

Adrian Sandham completed their MSc in Artificial Intelligence at Munster Technological University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2009, they pursued a degree in Software Development and Computer Networking at the same university. The degree covered various subjects including Telecommunications, Programming, Software Development, and Software Testing.

Additionally, Adrian has obtained several certifications. In October 2020, they completed certifications in "Building Batch Data Pipelines on GCP," "Building Resilient Streaming Analytics Systems on GCP," "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals," and "Modernizing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses with GCP" from Google Cloud (NJ). In March 2018, they acquired the "Cloud Management Accreditation: AWS Service Catalog" from Amazon Web Services.
