Charna Parkey

Charna Parkey, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience in different roles and companies. Charna currently works at DataStax as the Real-Time AI Product & Strategy Leader, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they were the VP of Product at Kaskada from June 2021 to December 2022. In their role as Data Science Lead at Kaskada from June 2020 to June 2021, they performed various responsibilities, including product management, data analysis, and contributing to the data science community.

Before joining Kaskada, Charna worked at Textio from June 2019 to April 2020. Charna Parkey, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Technology and Electronic Engineering Technology from DeVry University, where they attended from 2004 to 2007. Charna then pursued their Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Central Florida from 2008 to 2010. Continuing their studies at the same institution, Charna completed their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 2015.
