Pierre-Yves de Brito

Pierre-Yves de Brito has over 16 years of work experience in various roles. Pierre-Yves started their career as a Java Developer at ANEO from 2005 to 2007. Pierre-Yves then joined BNP Paribas where they worked as an Equity Derivatives Quantitative Analyst from 2007 to 2009. Afterwards, they served as a Capital Analyst for Equity Holdings, responsible for computing and analyzing Risk Weighted Assets from 2009 to 2014. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Capital Analyst for Clearing Activities, focusing on Basel 3 regulation. Pierre-Yves then transitioned to the role of Senior Data Scientist from 2016 to 2018, leading smart data initiatives for Transaction Banking and Compliance. Currently, Pierre-Yves is with DataStax, where they began as a Solutions Architect in 2018, providing guidance and support to customers across Europe. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of Senior Software Quality Engineer, specializing in Graph products and ensuring high-quality performance for customers.

Pierre-Yves de Brito has a diverse educational background. Pierre-Yves began their academic journey at Albert de Mun from 1986 to 1997. Following this, they attended Marcelin Berthelot between 1997 and 2000. Pierre-Yves then pursued a degree in Computer Science at École Polytechnique from 2000 to 2005, earning an Ingénieur de l'Ecole Polytechnique. In 2003 to 2004, they furthered their studies in Computer Science at Télecom Paris. During the same period, they also attended Pierre and Marie Curie University, obtaining a DEA IARFA with a focus on AI, pattern recognition, and applications.
