Yongxin Xi

Yongxin Xi is a security data scientist at DataVisor. Yongxin has also served as the director of engineering for analytics at DataVisor, where they were responsible for developing and onboarding unsupervised anti-fraud models for various social and financial clients. Yongxin is also the product owner of auto tuning algorithms and data analytics tools, and the co-owner of dCube, the e2e data modeling platform.

Prior to joining DataVisor, Yongxin worked as a senior software engineer at Yahoo, where they were responsible for inventing and driving algorithmic improvements in Yahoo Mail's antispam system. Their projects there included developing a new traffic shaping quota algorithm, inventing inbound spammer gaming detection algorithms, co-inventing clustering based retrospective filtering, and researching a hybrid phishing classifier.

Yongxin Xi received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
