Sittapong S. has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sittapong is currently the Chief Technology Officer at DataX, beginning in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at PTTEP from February 2019 to May 2023, holding positions such as Chief Data Architecture, Engineering and Management and Chief Data Architect and Engineering. Before PTTEP, Sittapong was a Senior Professional at Samsung Electronics from October 2018 to February 2019. Sittapong also served as the Head of Data & Analytics Department at G-ABLE Group from August 2015 to September 2018. Sittapong worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi from September 2011 to October 2017. Sittapong was also a Co-Founder and Technical Manager at Novitat Co., Ltd from September 2011 to April 2017. In addition, they held roles at Yannix as a Senior Software Development Manager from January 2013 to August 2015, at Thomson Reuters as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer from November 2011 to January 2013, at MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC Information Technology R&D Center as an Intern in August 2010, and at SOLIDRAY as a Part-time Software Engineer in August 2008.

Sittapong S. completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi in 2005. Sittapong then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the same university, graduating in 2008. Following that, they attended Shibaura Institute of Technology, obtaining a Master's degree in Electronic and Information System Engineering in 2008. Sittapong S. continued their studies at Shibaura Institute of Technology and completed their Doctoral degree in Functional Control Systems in 2011.

In addition to their educational background, Sittapong S. has obtained several certifications. These include Enterprise Architecture Advance (TOGAF-A) and Enterprise Architecture Foundation (TOGAF-F) from Vnohow (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in 2022, Microsoft AZURE214x: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2017, and Cloudera Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop (CCAH) from Cloudera in 2015. Sittapong also received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Society of Petroleum Engineers International in recognition of outstanding support and contribution to an SPE workshop in November 2019.
