Damian Galetto

Damian Galetto has a diverse work experience in software development and entrepreneurship. Their most recent position was as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Pulse360 from August 2020 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at GM2DEV from September 2019 to August 2020, where they were involved in the development of Yappa's backend and migration to a microservices architecture.

From October 2018 to September 2019, Damian worked as a Senior Frontend Developer at Optimissa, Capital Markets Consulting, where they developed web apps and PoC's for Banco Sabadell using React, Redux, and Immutable.js. Damian also presented two applications and provided training to the bank's systems area for support.

Before that, Damian founded and led Prixmates, serving as a Full Stack Developer from March 2011 to September 2019. In this role, they developed customized websites, SPAs, and applications for clients, providing technical support, advice, and solutions. Damian also led work teams and gained experience in client communication and project management.

Earlier in their career, Damian worked as a Full Stack Developer at Sur On Line from February 2008 to May 2019. Damian developed web pages, SPAs, automated product acquisition using APIs from social networks, and implemented email marketing campaigns and landing pages. Damian used technologies such as Python and Node.js.

Additionally, Damian was the Lead Developer at Odonpad from November 2016 to May 2018. As part of this entrepreneurial venture, they led a team in developing a Management System for Dental Clinics using Angular 2+, Loopback, MongoDB, and NativeScript. The project was awarded at Fonsoft 2016.

Finally, Damian worked as a Full Stack Developer at Expensas Online from May 2014 to September 2015.

Damian Galetto completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba from 2008 to 2010. Damian also pursued additional education in 2009, attending Fundacion Proydesa to study programming in Java and Jdeveloper, J2EE applications, and Oracle Database. In 2014, they received training in the development of mobile applications with Android from Capacitación IT. Prior to their university studies, Damian attended Centro educativo Puertas del Sol from 2001 to 2006, where they completed their Bachelor's degree focused on Natural Sciences, with a specialty in health and environment. Alongside their education, Damian has also obtained several certifications, including Redis Labs | RU101 Certificate | Redis University in 2021, Algorithmic Toolbox from Coursera in 2019, PADI Open Water Diver certification in 2017, and the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate in 2021.
