Senior Principal Account Manager, Southeast Region at Datto

Apzara Cedeño has extensive work experience in the sales and business development field. Apzara has held various roles in different companies throughout their career.

Starting in 1992, Apzara worked at Ericsson as a Senior Switching Engineer and later became an Installation Engineering Supervisor. Apzara was responsible for planning and designing the Digital PSTN in the Central Region of Venezuela.

After Ericsson, they joined Movistar Venezuela as a Voice System Engineer and later became a Voice Systems Supervisor.

In 1999, Apzara joined LHS/Priority Call Management as a Technical Account Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean. Apzara managed technical and marketing resources to improve customer satisfaction and also handled project management for Grupo Telefonica and Telecom Italia Mobile.

Moving on, they worked at Sema Group as a Sales Manager for Strategic Accounts in the Caribbean and Latin America before transitioning to SchlumbergerSema as a Business Development Manager and Sales Manager for the same regions. Their responsibilities included sales of telecom portfolios and developing marketing strategies with leading companies.

From 2004 to 2013, they worked at Comverse Technology, Inc. in various roles, including Converged Billing Sales Engineer, Product Solution Expert, and Product Solution Consultant for the Latin American and Caribbean regions. Apzara supported sales cycles, responded to RFI/RFP requirements, and collaborated with regional partners and resellers.

In 2020, Apzara joined Tanasi Enterprises Network, LLC as a Business Development Specialist, where they provided support to SMBs in different industries, established go-to-market strategies, and understood customer requirements.

In 2021, they joined Boyum IT Solutions as a Channel Sales Manager for North America, where they ensured partner success, generated market and solution strategies, and grew the existing partner base.

Apzara's most recent role is at Datto, where they started in 2022 as a Senior Principal Account Manager for the Southeast Region. Their responsibilities include building strong relationships with channel partners, implementing account development plans, and participating in sales campaigns to increase revenue.

Throughout their career, Apzara has demonstrated expertise in sales, business development, partner management, customer satisfaction, and technical solutions.

Apzara Cedeño has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from TélecomSud Paris and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from Universidad Simón Bolívar. Additionally, Apzara holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar. They have also obtained certifications in SAP Business One Essential Training, Business Analytics Foundations, CompTIA Cloud+, and Digital Transformation.
