Tara Mahoney

Tara Mahoney is a Research and Engagement Coordinator and Postdoctoral Fellow at Simon Fraser University, where Tara focuses on using research and cultural production to innovate public engagement for a more equitable and sustainable future. Tara also holds the title of Research Fellow in Climate Change Communications at the David Suzuki Foundation. In addition, Tara is the Creative Director at Gen Why Media, a creative engagement agency specializing in public participation and cross-generational dialogue. Tara has a PhD in Communication and Media Studies from Simon Fraser University, a Master of Arts in Media Production from Ryerson University, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Calgary.
