A. J. Kruppa has a diverse work experience spanning from 1994 to the present. Starting as an Advanced Acoustics Analyst in the US Navy, they later became a Naval Officer, excelling in leadership, training, education, management, and safe navigation of various U.S. warships.

After leaving the Navy, Kruppa founded and directed a non-profit military CrossFit affiliate, providing functional fitness training for active and reserve U.S. military members in various locations.

A. J. then took on various roles within the US Navy, including Senior Manager (Strategy Development & Planning) at the U.S. European Command Headquarters, Deputy Director in the Strategic Initiatives Group - Atlantic Fleet, Chief Operating Officer of the Navy Destroyer USS STOUT, and Executive Vice President of Operations at Davis Defense Group, Inc.

Outside of their naval career, Kruppa has held roles such as Planning Commission Member at the Township of Upper Providence, Assistant Swim Coach at Cherokee High School and Upper Perkiomen School District, and Senior Naval Science Instructor at Cherokee High School and William Allen High School.

Most recently, in 2023, Kruppa became a Dryland Certified Coach at SURGE Strength, where they focus on strength and conditioning training.

A. J. Kruppa's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology from Penn State University. They also obtained a Masters degree in Advanced Military and Operational Studies from Marine Corps University, as well as another Masters degree in Military Studies from the same institution. In 2016, they attended the US Joint Forces Staff College and completed the Joint and Combined Warfighting School, focusing on JPME II.

In terms of certifications, A. J. Kruppa has obtained several. They are a Certified Triathlon Coach from USA Triathlon, a National Accredited Interscholastic Coach (Level 1) in Swimming from NFHS Network, and a Surge Strength Dryland Certified (SSDC) from SURGE Strength. They also hold a Teaching Certificate in Military Science from the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the State of New Jersey, as well as a JROTC Marksmanship Instructor certification from the US Navy.

Additionally, A. J. Kruppa has obtained various other certifications such as CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross, a Coaching Certificate in Swimming (State of New Jersey) from the National Federation of State High School Associations, and an Advanced Google Classroom for Education certification from Google. They have also completed certifications in Leveraging Neuroscience in the Workplace from LinkedIn, the Senior Naval Science Instructor (NJROTC) Certification from the US Navy, and the Veteran Career Readiness Program Alumni from FourBlock.

A. J. Kruppa has obtained several more certifications, including the AGILE Development Process Specialization from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, the Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, and Managing Projects with Microsoft Teams from LinkedIn. They have also completed certifications in Removing Barriers to Change from The Wharton School, Leading Virtual Meetings, Leading at a Distance, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, and Microsoft Collaboration: SharePoint, Teams, and Groups, all from LinkedIn. The most recent certifications acquired by A. J. Kruppa include a Teaching Certificate in Military Science from the State of New Jersey and the Leveraging Neuroscience in the Workplace certification from LinkedIn.
