Jeffrey L. Hammond

Jeffrey L. Hammond has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Jeffrey L. began their career in the United States Marine Corps in 1997 as a Communications Officer, serving in different units and positions until 2019. During their time in the Marine Corps, they held roles such as Company Commander, Commanding Officer, and G35 Future Operations Officer. Jeffrey L. was responsible for planning, deployment, and maintenance of communication infrastructure, leading multi-function planning teams, and managing personnel and resources.

In 2005, Hammond served as the Director of Communication Training Centers at Marine Corps Communications & Electronics School (MCCES), where they designed and taught at three regional communication training centers and managed learning academies and certification testing centers.

Jeffrey L. also worked for Davis Defense Group, Inc. as an Adjunct Instructor in 2015 and 2019.

In 2017, Hammond joined the United States Southern Command as a J35 Future Operations Planner, where they led regional future operations planning for Central & South America and the Caribbean.

In their most recent role, starting in 2019, Hammond returned to the United States Marine Corps as Deputy Commander - MCIPAC, overseeing operations and serving as the principle staff assistant for all information technology and systems within the organization. Jeffrey L. provided recommendations and oversaw technology budgeting, implementation, and maintenance, while advocating for expeditionary communication requirements.

Throughout their career, Hammond has demonstrated leadership, planning, and technical expertise in the field of communication infrastructure and military operations.

Jeffrey L. Hammond's education history is as follows:

From 2016 to 2017, they attended the National Defense University and completed a Master of Military Science in Campaign Planning and Strategy at the Joint Advanced Warfighting School.

In 2012 and 2013, they attended the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) and obtained a Master of Military Arts and Science degree with a focus on Theater Operations.

During 2011 and 2012, Jeffrey attended the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, specializing in Command and General Staff.

From 2003 to 2004, they completed the Command and Staff College - Distance Ed Program at the Marine Corps University.

In 2001 and 2002, Jeffrey attended the Marine Corps University and completed the Amphibious Warfare School.

From 1998 to 2000, they studied at Boston University Metropolitan College and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences, with a general focus.

Between 1990 and 1995, they attended the University of Michigan-Flint and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting.

Additionally, Jeffrey holds several certifications. In 2009, they obtained the Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment certification from Microsoft. In 2008, they became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)^2 and obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA. In 2006, they earned the CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications, and became a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco.
