Matt Verdin

Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Davis Defense Group

Matt Verdin has a diverse work experience in the military and defense sectors. Matt started their career in 2005 as a Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps and later served as a Commanding Officer in Combat Logistics Battalion 31. Matt also worked as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Davis Defense Group, Inc. In their role at Manpower and Reserve Affairs, HQMC, they handled General Officer Matters and Joint Officer Matters - Manpower Management Officer Assignments. Matt gained further expertise through their roles as Logistics Officer in Marine Aircraft Group 39 and Headquarters & Service Co Commander / Operations Officer in Marine Wing Support Squadron 273. Matt also served as a Strategic Advisor at Resolute Support Headquarters and Deputy Team Chief in Engineer Kandak Advisor Team. In addition, they were a student at Expeditionary Warfare School and attended Command & Staff College at Marine Corps University.

Matt Verdin attended Mauldin High School from 1997 to 2001 where they obtained their High School Diploma. Matt then attended The Citadel from 2001 to 2005 and earned a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Biology, General. In 2008, they completed the Amphibious Ship Load Planner's Course (ASLPC) at Marine Corps Combat Service Support School (MCCSSS). In 2012, they attended the Marine Corps University and Marshall University. At Marine Corps University, they completed the Expeditionary Warfare School program. At Marshall University, they obtained their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Leadership Studies. In 2013, they attended the Marine Advisor Course and the SPAWAR Atlantic LSS Program, where they acquired a Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt certification. Lastly, in 2017, they attended the Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group (MCLOG) for a logistics operations program.
