Zohaib Shaikh

Zohaib Shaikh has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Currently, they serve as the Chief Financial Officer at Dawaai, where they oversee finance operations, data analytics, investor relations, and legal activities. As a member of the leadership team, Zohaib also plays a crucial role in strategizing and optimizing core operations for revenue growth and business sustainability.

Prior to their role at Dawaai, Zohaib worked at Khaadi SMC Pvt. Ltd., starting as the Lead Treasury & Financial Planning and eventually transitioning to become the Head of Global Treasury. During their tenure at Khaadi, they managed treasury functions and played a key role in financial planning.

Before joining Khaadi, Zohaib worked at Engro Fertilizers Limited in various roles. Zohaib started as a Business Analyst in the New Ventures Division, where they conducted financial feasibility assessments for large-scale manufacturing projects. Later, they became a Senior Business Analyst in the Urea Business division, responsible for analyzing and assessing the financial performance of the urea business.

Zohaib also worked as a Senior Treasury Analyst at Engro Fertilizers Limited, where they handled treasury operations. Additionally, they gained experience as a Finance & Accounts Officer at Engro Vopak Terminal Limited and as a Research Analyst at HBL Asset Management Company Limited.

Zohaib Shaikh completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at AGSM @ UNSW Business School from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
