William (Will) Holmes

William (Will) Holmes has a diverse work experience. William (Will) is currently working as a Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer at Dawn Aerospace since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Development Engineer at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare starting from September 2020. William (Will) also has experience in the ski industry, having worked as a Rentals Attendant at Sunshine Village Ski & Snowboard Resort from October 2019 to March 2020. Before that, they were a Project Support Engineer and Graduate Engineer at Pratt & Whitney, where they gained experience in data migration and design support, as well as rotating through different areas of the Engineering Department. In addition, they worked as an Aerospace Design Engineer at Glenn N Martin Ltd, focusing on aeronautical project development. William (Will) also has previous experience as a Checkout Supervisor at Countdown Supermarkets and as a Workshop Assistant at HELI MAINTENANCE LIMITED. William began their career as a Gap Tutor at The Oratory School, where they gained experience in student supervision and sports coaching. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their versatility and adaptability in various industries.

Will Holmes attended St Patrick's College Silverstream from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their NCEA Level 3 degree in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. William (Will) then went on to study at the University of Canterbury from 2013 to 2016, earning their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
