I'm Dawn and I have over 15 years' experience in media, tech, and start-ups. My career began in the fast-paced world of journalism at a national women's weekly magazine as a feature writer. After the magazine closed, I quickly pivoted from redundancy into business journalism as an Editor — first at a trade publication for entrepreneurs, and then at a C-Suite and non-executive director membership organisation. After that, I transitioned (again) from journalism into Training & Support, and then Customer Success at a SaaS company where I built a CS team from the ground up. I understand, have written extensively about, and acutely felt the pressure of navigating complex business environments. Group and one-to-one leadership coaching helped me navigate my first executive role.
