Kimberly Lyons, CF APMP, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kimberly started their career as a Journalist, working as a staff writer for various Village Voice and Manhattan Media publications. Kimberly also wrote freelance articles for publications such as Mother Jones, BACKPACKER, USA Today, Boston Herald, and more. Additionally, they served as an adjunct professor at Metropolitan University of Denver.
In 2013, Kimberly transitioned into the proposal writing field, working as a Proposal Writer for KIRA until 2014. Kimberly then joined Arrowhead Solutions, LLC as a Business Development Specialist from September 2014 to January 2015. Following this, they worked at Tigua Inc. as a Capture Manager from January 2015 to January 2018.
Most recently, Kimberly has been associated with DAWSON since January 2018. Kimberly initially served as a Proposal, Capture, and Business Development Manager until February 2021. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Program Manager, focusing on Business Development and Strategy.

Kimberly Lyons, CF APMP, has a diverse education history. In 1999, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and psychology at Boston College. Prior to that, they attended Ransom Everglades School from 1995 to 1999. In 2008, Kimberly pursued further education at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in print journalism.
Additionally, Kimberly has obtained a certification as a CF APMP from the APMP institution in October 2019.
