Robert Penney

Robert Penney is an experienced quality control professional with a strong background in inspection and testing within various industrial settings. Currently serving as a Quality Control Specialist at Day & Zimmermann since June 2022, Robert previously held the position of Quality Control Inspector at Aecon Group Inc. from November 2020 to June 2022, where responsibilities included inspecting welds to ASME BPVC Sec III standards in nuclear environments. Robert's earlier roles at Aecon Group involved similar quality control duties from October 2018 to June 2020. Prior to this, Robert worked as a Machinist at Acuren Mississauga focusing on weld sample inspections and specimen preparation for mechanical testing, and as Chief Operator at Sperry Rail Inc., where ultrasonic testing was utilized to certify rail steel integrity. Robert holds an Advanced Diploma in Biotechnology from Fleming College, obtained between 2012 and 2015.
