Wesley George

Wesley George has a long history of work experience. Wesley began their career in 2005 as a Software Development Intern at Business Objects. In 2008, they worked as a Software Development Intern at Google. From 2012 to 2014, they served as a Crypto Lab Research Assistant at Columbia University. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Principal Security Engineer at Nymi. Wesley then worked at Clearbanc from 2016 to 2017 as a Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Co-Founder & CTO at Proof. In 2019, they were a Toronto 2019 Cohort at Techstars. Most recently, they have been a VP Field Engineering at Daylight since 2022.

Wesley George obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in 2008, majoring in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics. From 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science and Cryptography at the University of Toronto. Wesley then began a PhD in Computer Science at the same university, but did not complete the program.
