Felix Hui

Felix Hui began their work experience in 2015 as a Programming Intern at Build.IT, where they developed a web application with AngularJS and Node.js, managed the MongoDB database, and implemented plug-ins for Autodesk Revit 3D modeling software. Felix then interned at Gaifong in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Senior IT Coordinator at Hactl - Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited. Since 2018, Felix has been working as a Software Engineer at Dayta, where they developed an account management system in Go with Amazon DynamoDB as the database, managed data flows between AI inference modules, enhanced service performance, implemented an automated CI/CD pipeline, and established a development standard and practice using Github. Felix also implemented a system monitoring and alerting system with APM, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and cron jobs.

Felix Hui completed their education at the University of Hong Kong, starting with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from 2013 to 2017. Felix then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from 2018 to 2019 at the same university. Prior to their university studies, Felix attended Diocesan Boys' School from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education. Additionally, Felix obtained the certification of Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer in June 2018 from Oracle.
