Yossi Cohen has extensive experience in microbiome research and marine microbiology. Yossi started their career as a Teaching Assistant and went on to work as a Research Assistant at Tel Aviv University and the Weizmann Institute of Science. Yossi then pursued their Ph.D at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem while also working as a Lab Instructor at Israel Maritime College. Currently, they serve as the Head of Microbiome Research at DayTwo, where they previously worked as a Microbiome Scientist.
Yossi Cohen completed a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biotechnology at Israel Maritime College - Ruppin Academic Center from 2005 to 2008. Yossi then pursued a Master of Science in Molecular Microbiology & Biotechnology at Tel Aviv University from 2009 to 2011. Yossi later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbial Ecology & Environmental Microbiology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2012 to 2017.
