Howard Beard-Marlowe

Howard Beard-Marlowe has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Howard started their career as a Web Developer at Birmingham City Council, where they were responsible for setting up and designing a website. Howard then worked as a Freelance C# Developer, designing software solutions using .NET technologies and extending existing CRM/Accounts software.

After that, Howard joined Microtrading as a Software and Support Engineer, where they developed the club map system used by BMFA. Howard then worked at Klarna as a 2nd Line Agent, providing support to e-stores and building integration solutions. Howard also served as a Software Engineer (DevOps) at Klarna, where they were responsible for the high availability solution.

Howard also gained experience as a C# Developer at ConSim, where they developed a small open-source project to teach kids how to use a terminal in a secure sandbox environment. Howard then worked as an Android Developer at Vicissitude.

In 2016, Howard joined Derivco Sweden as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on migrating and expanding the functionality of a betting liability system. Howard also worked as a Developer for a Stockholm University student society as a self-employed individual.

Their most recent role was as a Tech Lead at Derivco Sports, where they led a team in building and maintaining integrations to external wallet/account services for the Derivco Sportsbook. Their responsibilities included maintaining legacy services in Ruby and developing services in Elixir.

Currently, Howard is working as a Software Engineer at Dazzle Rocks.

Howard Beard-Marlowe's education history includes completing A-Levels in Chemistry, Music, Maths, and ICT at King Edwards VI from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their GCSEs, earning 11.5 GCSEs at Queen Elizabeth, Atherstone, with all grades B or above, between 2001 and 2006.
