Tosha Hughes has held various roles throughout their work experience. Tosha is currently the Chief Operating Officer at DC College Access Program, where they previously served as the Interim President & CEO. In their role as Senior Vice President, Partnerships, they were responsible for acquiring new university partners and securing donor aid support. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Programs & Evaluation at Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara, overseeing scholarship programming and implementing data analytic processes. At DC College Access Program, they served as the Vice President of Retention & Data Management, developing strategies and recruiting staff. Tosha also worked at Resource Development International as a Student Support Manager, managing marketing and enrollment efforts, and held the position of Academic Advisor at Southeastern University. Additionally, they worked at Strayer Education as an Academic Operations Assistant/Student Services Officer, handling accounts receivable and managing staff.
Tosha Hughes has a diverse education history. From 2015 to 2017, they attended George Mason University and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Data Analytics Engineering. Prior to that, in 2014 to 2015, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics at Penn State University. Going further back, from 1993 to 1997, Tosha attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology. During the same period, they also completed a Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
