Stacy Haines

Stacy Haines has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Stacy is currently working as a Community Support Specialist at DCCCA since January 2023. Prior to this, Stacy worked as a Community/Business Development Coordinator for the City of Benton, KS from April 2022. In 2017, they started their own business, Stylin' With Stacy Boutique, where they served as the Business Owner. Before that, they held the role of Director at Coffey County Economic Development from May 2015 to August 2019, where they focused on recruiting new business and promoting the county to tourists and entrepreneurs. Stacy also has experience as a Prevention Specialist at Preferred Family Healthcare from April 2014 to May 2015. Stacy has held various positions at the Healthy Communities Initiative, starting as a Program Coordinator from May 2008 to January 2012, and later as the Director from January 2012 to December 2013. Stacy also has experience in newspaper journalism, having worked as a Staff Writer at The Pittsburg Morning Sun from February 2004 to May 2005, and as the Managing Editor at The Girard Press from February 2002 to August 2003. Stacy started their career as a Vision Therapist at Coleman Vision Improvement Center from August 2003 to October 2004. Throughout their career, Stacy has demonstrated skills in community development, business management, sales, and media promotion.

Stacy Haines received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication from Pittsburg State University, where they attended from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification as a Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in February 2023.
