Kelly Kennedy, PE, MBA, is a seasoned engineer specializing in survivability within the aviation sector. Currently serving as a Senior Survivability Engineer at DCS Corp since December 2019, Kelly oversees the design, fielding, and testing of defensive armament systems for the Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) Program Office. Prior experience includes a similar role at HX5, LLC, where responsibilities involved ensuring vehicle and personnel survivability and supporting live fire testing. Kelly also held positions as a Senior Systems Engineer at Alion Science and Technology and as Lead Engineer at Innovative Technologies Corp and Camber Corporation. A career in the US Air Force as a Technical Expert provided foundational experience in structural analysis for aircraft modifications. Kelly holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron.
