Oleg Drokin

Oleg Drokin has over 15 years of experience in software engineering. Oleg is currently a Principal Software Development Engineer at DDN Storage since June 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Intel Corporation as a Staff Software Engineer from June 2012 to June 2018, where they served as the Gatekeeper for Lustre community branch and was responsible for Linux kernel programming. Oleg also worked at Whamcloud, Inc as a Senior Software Engineer from December 2010 to July 2012. Oleg has also worked at Oracle as a Principal Software Engineer from February 2010 to December 2010 and at Sun Microsystems as a Principal Software Engineer from October 2007 to February 2010. Oleg began their career at Cluster File Systems as a Principal Software Engineer from October 2003 to September 2007, where they played a key role in redesigning and rewriting the Lustre filesystem to improve scalability and fail-resistance.

Oleg Drokin completed their Master's degree in Applied Mathematics at Simferopol State University from 1996 to 1999.
