Mahiar Borhanjoo

Mahiar Borhanjoo is a seasoned executive in the diamond and luxury industry, currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at De Beers Group since July 2024. Prior roles include President and Executive Board member at UNI Diamonds, where Mahiar led mid-market financing and ethically sourced polished diamond sales, and Group CEO at DFL, with similar responsibilities. As Managing Director at Venus Jewel International, Mahiar focused on operational development within one of the leading diamond manufacturers. Further experience includes significant contributions as Executive Director at De Beers Group, where Mahiar achieved record sales figures, and as Senior Vice President at Etelecare Global Solutions, significantly improving division profitability. Mahiar holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Francisco, and has attended medical studies at the University of San Francisco.
