George Rots has extensive experience in humanitarian aid and public health, currently serving as the Coordinator of a Homeless Shelter at De Binnenvest since April 2022. Previous roles include a GGD vaccination call center employee at Randstad, and a Medical Coordinator for Covid-19 test centers at GGD Kennemerland. George's significant contributions to humanitarian efforts were exemplified during tenure as Programme Manager for Cordaid, leading initiatives in several countries including South Sudan and Iraq. As Senior Portfolio Manager at KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation, George played a key role in the largest TB control program globally. Additional experience includes coordinating pesticide management at Alterra Wageningen UR and overseeing multiple emergency and recovery programs for The Netherlands Red Cross in Latin America and the Caribbean. George holds a Master of Science in Social Anthropology and Sociology of Non-Western Societies from the University of Amsterdam and a Master's in Medicine from Radboud University Nijmegen.
