Elena Kool

Elena Kool is a Senior Associate and Lawyer (Advocaat) at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek since February 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne's Tax Group, and as a Buitengriffier and Stagiaire at the Gerechtshof Amsterdam. Elena has also interned in Corporate Tax Services in Amsterdam and International Tax Services in New York with Loyens & Loeff, and completed a Thesis Internship at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek in the Tax practice group. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Tax Law and two Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, as well as study in law at Singapore Management University. Elena has held various positions in student organizations and legal aid initiatives during academic studies.
