Lize Geurts

Lize Geurts is a journalist currently working at De Groene Amsterdammer since March 2023 and has prior experience at NRC Media, where roles included Redacteur nieuwsdienst and Freelance verslaggever from June 2014 to March 2023. Lize also interned at de Volkskrant in 2020 and served as an Investigative Research Assistant for The New York Times from June 2018 to May 2019. Leadership experience includes serving as Chairman of the Board for the Amsterdam Americanist Society from September 2017 to June 2018. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Journalism and Media and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Amsterdam, along with various summer programs and exchanges in literature, history, and journalism across several institutions.
