Meredith Keffer

Meredith Keffer is a seasoned publishing professional with extensive experience in acquisitions and editorial roles. Currently serving as a Senior Acquisitions Editor at De Gruyter since May 2023, Meredith specializes in linguistics and communication science for the Mouton imprint. Prior to this, a career at Oxford University Press from September 2013 to May 2023 encompassed various positions, including Acquisitions Editor for sociology, criminology, and language/linguistics, as well as Associate Editor roles focused on these disciplines. Earlier positions included editorial work in higher education covering anthropology, archaeology, and sociology, alongside a foundation in photographic editing at The Harvard Crimson and an editorial internship at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. Meredith holds a BA in Folklore and Mythology from Harvard University, graduating summa cum laude, and a Master's Degree in Sociocultural Anthropology from Columbia University.
