Icing/Ice Protection Engineer at De-Ice

Clive Leah has a diverse range of work experience in the field of ice protection systems engineering. Clive started their career at Asystem UK, where they worked as an Ice Protection System Engineer, focusing on the design of electric ice protection systems for new Airbus aircraft. Clive then joined Rocky Mountain Composites as a Lead Engineer, specializing in ice protection. After that, they worked at Middle River Aircraft Systems as a Lead Engineer - Ice Protection, where they played a key role in ice protection projects. In 2014, they became a Contract Icing Engineer at Cirrus Aircraft, responsible for icing and ice protection analysis and certification documentation. In 2015, they became the President of RMAI, leading aircraft icing analysis and ice protection system research, design, development, test, and certification. Their most recent roles were as an Ice Protection Systems Engineer at Zunum Aero and an Icing/Ice Protection Engineer at De-Ice.

Clive Leah pursued their education at Cranfield College of Aeronautics from 1985 to 1990. During this time, they focused on obtaining a PhD degree, specializing in the field of Design of Thermal Ice Protection Systems for Aircraft.
