Sonny Schraal

Sonny Schraal is a seasoned Tax Attorney with extensive experience in international and European tax law. Currently employed at de Jong & Laan since January 2024, Sonny has previously worked at Loyens & Loeff, where focus areas included international employment (tax) law and immigration law from December 2018 to October 2023. Earlier positions at Deloitte Nederland involved specialization in international and European corporate and personal income tax, as well as wage withholding tax. Sonny's career began with internships at EY and Deloitte Nederland, providing insights into international tax services and employment law. Educational qualifications include a Postdoctoral degree in International Tax from the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors, an LL.M. in International and European Tax Law, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Tax Law and Law from the University of Amsterdam, along with a foundation in hospitality management and entrepreneurship.
