Marcel Pesch

Marcel Pesch has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Marcel began their career in 2018 as a Service Associate at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. In 2019, Marcel joined Skotel as an Operations and Finance Duty Manager, where they stayed until 2021. During this time, Marcel gained experience in managing operations and finances. In 2021, Marcel worked at Zoku as a Pre-Opening, Operations, and HR Duty Manager. Later that year, they joined Sentinels as a Workplace Experience Manager and HR Administrator. Currently, Marcel is working at Dealroom.co, first as a People & Culture Operations team member, and then as a People and Culture Lead, starting in 2023. Marcel's work experience reflects their expertise in people and culture management, operations, and finance.

Marcel Pesch completed their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Business Administration in Hotel Management from Hotelschool The Hague from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Cebu International School from 2005 to 2017, where they completed their International Baccalaureate degree. In addition to their formal education, Marcel obtained several certifications related to diversity, inclusion, and allyship from LinkedIn in September and October 2020. These certifications include "Confronting Racism, with Robin DiAngelo," "Becoming a Male Ally at Work," "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging," and "Inclusive Mindset for Committed Allies."
