Burcu Salingan Cilingir is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Partner at DeBa Ventures since April 2024, Burcu focuses on supporting early-stage tech startups and their founders. Prior to this, Burcu held notable positions such as Chief People Officer at VavaCars, overseeing HR processes and prioritizing employee well-being, and Chief Human Resources Officer at iyzico / PayU Turkey, leading HR initiatives during a significant merger. Burcu’s career began at IBM Global Services, progressing through roles that included HR Partner at Avon Cosmetics and Research Assistant at Amrop International. Holding a BA in Tourism Management from Boğaziçi University and an MA in Human Resources Management and Development from Marmara University, Burcu combines a robust educational background with a passion for cultivating high-performance organizational cultures.
