Michael Debono

Passionate about the future of mobility, Michael is focused on redefining the way that goods and people move around Malta. As an avid networker Michael uses his entrepreneurial skills to help the Group build innovative and sustainable solutions in the mobility scene that are inclusive, affordable, safe and accessible. Michael is actively involved in creating a sustainable and credible alternative to the private vehicle with the purpose of positively contributing to traffic congestion, travel time and emissions. Since taking on an active role within the group in 2012, Michael initially focused his attentions on building the group's Commercial Business Offering and later helped launch the Group Motorcycle retail business. Today his efforts have shifted squarely to driving the deployment of new mobility solutions. He is a director of several group companies. Michael graduated as a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Malta and an MSc in Entrepreneurship from the University of Surrey. Michael is a very active person and likes to spend his free time swimming and trekking.
