Kashi Alishala

Kashi Alishala is a highly experienced scientist specializing in process development and organic chemistry. Currently serving as Principal Scientist-DSP at Debut since September 2021, Kashi focuses on developing cost-effective methods to isolate active secondary metabolites from fermentation broths. Previous roles include Senior Process Development Scientist at Nucelis LLC, where Kashi worked on ergosterol extraction and flavor molecule isolation, and Principal Scientist at Menon International, Inc., specializing in lipid extraction for biofuels. Additional experience includes positions at Cortex Pharmaceuticals and Avanir Pharmaceuticals, where Kashi engaged in small molecule design and synthesis. Kashi's academic background includes a Post Doctoral degree from UC San Diego and Master's and Ph.D. degrees from Kakatiya University and Osmania University, respectively.
