Kristie Francis

Kristie Quinones-Francis is a scientist with extensive experience in biochemistry and cell biology, holding a BS degree from UC San Diego. Most recently, Kristie has served as Scientist II at Debut since April 2021, previously holding the role of Scientist I. Prior positions include Scientist at Rynetech Bio, Senior Research Associate at Sterogene Bioseparations, Inc. and Verdezyne, and Senior Research Associate at Synthetic Genomics, where innovative work involved generating algal cell lines for lipid production. Early career experience includes roles at The Dow Chemical Company, Chemicon International, Inc., Quorex Pharmaceuticals, and The Burnham Institute, focusing on protein expression, cell line generation, and drug discovery efforts.
