Marc Desmettre

Marc Desmettre is an experienced retail and commercial director with a strong background in the sporting goods industry, currently serving as Brand Retail Supplier & Commercial Director at Decathlon International since September 2021. Previously, Marc held roles at Decathlon España, including Senior Store Manager from August 2020 to September 2021 and various managerial positions from 2009 to 2016, where Marc successfully executed store openings and managed flagship locations. Notably, Marc managed the first Decathlon store in the USA and contributed to the company's expansion and market studies in the US. Marc holds a Master 2 in Political Science from the University of Lille 1 and a Master 1 in Event Management and Communication in Sports from the Université de Lille.
