Srdjan Salcic

Srdjan Salcic has extensive work experience in various leadership and managerial roles in the technology and cloud engineering field. Srdjan has served as the VP of Engineering, Cloud, Platform, and Engineering Productivity at Decathlon International since September 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Platform Services at Sendcloud from January 2022 to August 2023. Srdjan also held the position of Head of Infrastructure, SRE, and DevOps at Miro from March 2021 to December 2021.

Before their time at Miro, Salcic was the Head of Technology and Cloud Engineering at EasyPark, formerly Parkmobile, from February 2019 to February 2021. There, they played a key role in establishing and leading cloud architecture and engineering, implementing cloud governance, and driving the adoption of serverless frameworks.

From November 2016 to January 2019, Salcic worked at TomTom as the Head of Platform Engineering, where they led infrastructure and platform engineering teams and was responsible for IaaS and PaaS implementation across various data centers and cloud platforms. Prior to that, they held several managerial positions at TomTom, overseeing application development and operations, technology and DevOps, and eCommerce.

Salcic began their career as a Developer at Internet Company Trading Ltd in 2005 and later worked as a Business Analyst at D&Z Ltd from 1998 to 2002. Srdjan also gained experience in system engineering and application support and release at Telecom NZ from 2006 to 2010.

Srdjan Salcic completed their education at two institutions. From 1998 to 2000, they attended The University of Auckland, where they obtained a Diploma in Business Management and Economics. Following this, from 2002 to 2005, they studied at Unitec | Te Pūkenga, earning a BCS degree in Computer Systems. Additionally, Srdjan Salcic has obtained various certifications including DevOps for Managers from Xebia in September 2018, SaFE for Managers from Xebia in July 2017, ITIL V3 from APMG, PRINCE2 from APMG, and Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance Inc.
