Alvaro Luque

Alvaro Luque is the current Unity Engineering Team Lead & Product Owner at Decentraland. Prior to this, they were the Engineering Team Lead at Brite from October 2020 to March 2021. Alvaro has also worked as the Lead Game Producer / Software Architect at Virtually Live from August 2018 to July 2019, where they were responsible for the development of the game Ghost Racing: Formula E.

Alvaro Luque holds an Ingeniero Técnico de Gestión degree in Ingeniería Informática from Universidad de Málaga and a Técnico Superior Desarrollo de Software degree in Ingeniería de Software from Politécnico Jesús Marín. Alvaro also has a Scrum Manager certification from Scrum Master Expert Level and a JavaScript Certificate from w3schools.

They work with Marcelo Alaniz - Full Stack Engineer, Brian Amadori - Technical Lead, and Alejandro Jiménez Megías - Senior Software Engineer. Alvaro Luque reports to Agustin Mendez, Head of Engineering.
