Decentralization Research Center
Kyle Bligen serves as the Head of Policy and Public Affairs at the Decentralization Research Center and is an Executive Board Member of Black Men on the Hill. Additionally, Kyle is a Debate Coach at Whitman College, focusing on policy analysis and communication strategies. Previously, Kyle held the role of Senior Director of Financial Policy at the Chamber of Progress, where advocacy work included digital assets and financial inclusion. Experience also includes positions as Director of Financial Policy and Policy Advisor in the U.S. House of Representatives, with extensive involvement in economic, security, and legislative matters. Additional roles include the Rangel International Affairs Fellow at the U.S. Department of State, and positions at the Department of Defense and Cornerstone Government Affairs. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Elliott School of International Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Mercer University.
